American Kestrel (Falco sparverius)

The smallest falcon found in Waldo. Cute, yes; possibly: ask the designer, ask the mouse. Poleperching wirewaiting insect-varmint mealmaking. They're known for sterfling future dinners in vegetation clumps, tree branches or various urban crevices. Averaging about 10 inches in length, the Kestral is occasionally a meal for other hawks and even crows. They never build nests - only borrow. A scowling gust will turn a graceful glide into a tumbleflup.
